Go Instrumental.

Opened as the first musical instrument retailer in Mundaring (and surrounds) on the first Tuesday in November (Melbourne Cup day) 2005.

It was received enthusiastically by the hills hobby musicians and within it's first year sold more Banjo's than any other store in WA (according to the wholesalers) Drumkits and Guitars were also in great demand.

With many of the sales, customers were interested in having lessons, so local musicians were found to teach in the store and before long this side of the store became an increasingly important part of the operation.

I have been playing guitar since I was 12, I had saved up , travelled an hour by bus to the nearest music shop in Stoke on Trent (UK). I still remember my first guitar - I remember the sight the sound and even the aromatic wooden smell.

My love of the guitar remained with me, playing in duos and bands in the UK and over here. Then, about 15 years ago I was lucky enough to get the chance to open up my own (small!)music shop. In my years here I have real privilege of mentoring my students in all styles of guitar and I get to meet the youngsters who just like me (all those years ago) get their first guitar from the music shop.
